She Sings

She Sings

A Poem by Tarry Franck

My angel sings a sweet melody
With written words
Instead of vocally,
She sings for me
She sings for herself
She sings effortlessly,
The words so do inspire
And would touch the hearts of many
I know, for they set my soul afire
I beg of you, my sweet angel
Set these melodic words free,
Let the hearts and souls of others
Feel what I have heard
Believe me, my love, your tune
Even the wings of doves
Would graciously fly
To the words you inspire.
