Wild Hearts

Wild Hearts

A Poem by Tarry Franck

A maiden and her stallion
Ride off into the sunset
Their companionship
Like two wild hearts
That can never be chained
To a life they feel miles apart,
They travel through the musky woods
Of the wild
They travel the depths of the river
And bathe deep within
Then have a chance to rest
Beneath the stars
And beneath the sliver of the moonlight,
They are a force to be reckoned with
They are fearless, fun and carefree
But don't buck the saddle
For they will take you down easily,
They awake to the morning rain
Gather their belongings
Which is not much
Bold and brave, they continue their journey
Through land, water, beaches
And such
For they can do as they please,
The world is their playground
And they couldn't be happier
Knowing nothing, nevermore
Will hold these two wild hearts down.
