Teetering

Teetering

A Poem by Tarry Franck

I hear wings beating
Or is that the flutter of my heart
I thought it to be shallow, hollow
Once again, I knew not,
I lost myself, but found again
Thanks to your magical
And endless bliss
That I dare not want to end,
Because if it would...
I don't think
I could handle another heartache
Another love loss
That would leave me
Teetering on the brink.

Heartache does make more weary of love. I like the desire to know joy and concern for heartache also. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
