Smitten

Smitten

A Poem by Tarry Franck

The sound of your voice
The letters you have written
Has given me such happiness
I'm truly smitten,
Yes, like a teen girl
You've opened my heart once again
To joy I thought was lost
In the mist of pain,
You've placed a smile on my face
That goes so deep
The rewards, I can now reap,
I can't thank you enough
For being such a gentle soul
And being so true
It's something that has been long overdue.

Love is a beautiful thing when we've found someone that can take our breath away and make us feel special. Nicely done.

I like the positive feel in this poem. Good to learn good news. We need to feel needed and wanted. No weakness in the poem. I like the positive ending to the outstanding poem.
