True LoveA Poem by Tarry Franck
You held me
Beneath your wings Protected and loved me through everything For many years I think back to those moments Of all you have done And though I shed tears, It's those moments I miss by far The love, the laughter, the joy And so much more You were everything I dreamt of Your smile, your eyes Just to mention a few You were everything I adored And wanted nothing more, But since you've been gone There's been a whole in my heart An emptiness in my soul That I deeply feel You would probably hear The ocean if you lifted my heart to your ear, But I'm not giving up on us And pray that you don't either I have faith that we will be together again As they say...for true love There is no end. © 2012 Tarry FranckFeatured Review
