Life of an Aria.

Life of an Aria.

A Poem by Tardisbaby
"

It's not very good, but as always critiques are encouraged!

"
You snicker and smirk
I know what you're thinking
You see me with my saxophone
Or hear the song I'm singing

You think me small and worthless
Or think of me not at all
Wool is cast upon your ears
Too thick to hear my call

It may be hard to realize
Because of what you cannot see
But that aria you find boring
Is more alive than you'll ever be

This music's started riots
Carved gravestones and scandals
Too saucy for you to handle
Whispered among violin strings

It's been woven into culture
Forever immortal on the tongue
Of voices bright and young
And ears ringing with pleasure

So as I sing you laugh
Or yawn and turn away
I close my eyes and smile
As the music starts to play.

I usually don't go too much for the ones that rhyme but I fancy this. =) I think it is well done and I do not have anything to give pointers on, for I am but a noob, lol. What is an Aria? =o
