On dogs on walksA Poem by tarasovI wrote this during a local poetry slam and we had a list of 20 words we had to use three of them. I'll put the ones i used in Italics. other then that its pretty self explanatory.
The sun is rare in these parts and clouds are really the norm,
Though gray is what I'm used to, Today the sky is blue. I decided to take a walk, and as I meander through city beach, I count myself lucky to be free on this lovely day. Suddenly I watch in horror as a dog leash falls Through slippery hands, a doberman is bounding toward me at lightning speed! It's here I should mention my immense fear of dogs, so needless to say I was quite frazzled. It was really my greatest fear manifested. Luckily for me a rabbit darts out of the bushes to my left and the dog is sufficiently distracted while I run to the public restroom and hide until I am sure the dog is gone. © 2010 tarasovAuthor's Note
