![]() On dogs on walksA Poem by tarasov![]() I wrote this during a local poetry slam and we had a list of 20 words we had to use three of them. I'll put the ones i used in Italics. other then that its pretty self explanatory.![]()
The sun is rare in these parts and clouds are really the norm,
Though gray is what I'm used to, Today the sky is blue. I decided to take a walk, and as I meander through city beach, I count myself lucky to be free on this lovely day. Suddenly I watch in horror as a dog leash falls Through slippery hands, a doberman is bounding toward me at lightning speed! It's here I should mention my immense fear of dogs, so needless to say I was quite frazzled. It was really my greatest fear manifested. Luckily for me a rabbit darts out of the bushes to my left and the dog is sufficiently distracted while I run to the public restroom and hide until I am sure the dog is gone. © 2010 tarasovAuthor's Note
