Short 2

just thinking about how short all my poems are and went with it :D

They say

"Write what you know"

And I know short!

Every time I reach for the top shelf

I know short!

Go to hug a tall friend

I know short!

But what does my physical have to do with my

Spiritual,

                             emotional,

                          and mental?

Am I short changing my expression?

Are my metaphors being shortened into mini-phores?

So what if my arms know short?

And my legs know short?

Does that mean my mind has to "know short" too?
