Rainbow.A Story by tarasova random story that came to me at the kaffeehaus. that first line popped in my head and i liked the sound of it...so yea this is what came out of it.As a young girl Karla dreamed of a world where her parents were married and she wasn't hand-cuffed to city hall every other weekend because of an old dead tree or "The man" keeping daddy out of work... You see Karla's parents were hippies, peace loving, free spirit hippies. In fact her real name was Rainbow! But she made her parents tell people it was Karla. She just wanted to be "normal" what ever that was, but it wasn't her parents. Karla was twleve when she finialy got her parents to let her go to public school. Her first day all the kids stared at her seeming to bore into her soul at the same time as labeling her a freak. They quickly got over her when the goth kid showed up, but she was ok with that. Now the rest of her school days were spent happily blending into the backround. She graduated average went to comunity college and got married! much to her parents chagrin. As I sit and talk to Karla over a cup of coffee. I ask her if she resents what her parents put her through. She replys kindly with great love for her parents simply saying, "No, Because it made me who I am" So who is Karla "rainbow" black? She is a republican Wal-Mart greeter who still cuffs herself to city hall every now and then in memory of good ol' mom and dad.
Not the end, but all you need to know.
