Thoughts on a Robot

Thoughts on a Robot

A Poem by d. c. smith

Oh, she wants me to forget

Cupcakes and the ingredients

But, oh, I'll never forget

Preaching civil disobedience

Oh, she wants me to cry

As she calls me at 8:15

But, oh, I'll never cry

I couldn't love her as much as it seemed

i really like this one.

i like that it rhymes...sort of. it's not perfect. and i like that about it. i like the repetition of the words forget and cry.
