Like most leagues in Path of Exile, this league includes a meta development system that gives massive rewards in the event that you can conquer the challenge. In Delirium, each encounter you complete will fall splinters that could be joined to craft a special map. This map is known as The Simulacrum, that will teleport players to some experience that will shower you with loot POE currency trade upon conclusion. If leagues like Legion or Breach are anything to go by, Simulacrum missions will give massive rewards.

A new league would not be complete with no new ways of tackling the content. While not all skills are understood yet, the three shown thus far seem amazing.Blade Blast is a skill which detonates blades around the floor, which can be generated by the likes of Blade Cortex or Ethereal Knives. These blades can also be used to create Animated Weapons for boss battles. The last skill revealed is Stormbrand, making runes around you while you channel that can siphon your mana to detonate with great effect.

Many Path of Exile fans have complained that the Conquerers of the Atlas growth was overly confusing and encouraged gamers to not complete maps for optimal Atlas bonuses. This has been addressed "Delirium." Returning seller recipes should allow players to POE buy currency undo progression on their Atlas into target-farm things they wish. Conquerers are now deterministic when it comes to spawning, making progress through the Atlas much easier. Vaal side regions and the Temple of Atzoatl are also receiving some much-needed attention to keep them current with modern mechanisms and systems.
