Significant Changes

The original goal of Blizzard for World of Warcraft Season of Discovery was for the game to be less focused on huge battles and base management, and instead focus on the development of heroes and tactical battle among mixed unit units. In the beginning, however, in the beta, players resorted to WoW Classic SoD Gold using massive mobile units that could focus on firing and swiftly take out even massive groups of units, without backing units. It's not something you'll be seeing on Battle.net today. Blizzard has increased the amount of hit levels for each unit within the game. This means that battles are now lasting longer, giving you more opportunity to maneuver your troops to the maximum of your advantage, or to make use of the units' spells and abilities. Melee units are now able to take enough damage to effectively compete to ranged troops that before could have been unaccompanied. In addition, while mixing types of units is now more crucial than ever, the inclusion of an automated system for formation allows for easier coordination of units work together. When a group is stopped with melee units, they now form the front with spell and ranged units following behind. This is a seamless system and generally quite effective.

More than ever mixing groups of units are essential to winning.

A lot of special abilities and spells were not being utilized in the first release due to cheap WoW Classic SoD Gold they were not effective enough. In versions 1.10 and subsequent versions they are more efficient and powerful, to the point where Blizzard swiftly toned their effectiveness in a minor balance patch this weekend. The human sorceress as well as the orc far seer hero were made particularly powerful.
