Disturbed

Disturbed

A Poem by Tannit

a tiny child
plays with her toys
she's alone her rooms
that whispers in her ears.
"Tell me stories,
stories so sweet."
she'll pretend to believe
these lies.

a little girl
asleep on the bed
head on a pillow
that keeps her dreaming.
"Show me a world
or beautiful things."
she'll pretend to believe
it's real

a lovely lady
lost in a crowd
alone with a mind
she can never escape
"They tell me i'm crazy
how can i know?"
she'll pretend to believe
its okay
