Direction

A Poem by Tannit

her voice is wrapped in a whisper
as she sings herself a lullaby
she doesn’t know how to use her wings
feet on the ground and head in the clouds
she’s swimming deep in her memories
but she could fly if she tried
sooner or later she’ll break down
and she’ll fall into every thought
the ground is never that hard
but its empty and there isn’t a light around
but there is always a tree to climb
and she can make herself feel okay
finding her sense of direction
it isn’t easy
but its worth it when she knows
where to go

doesn't seem terrible to me... these are emotions many of us find ourselves experiencing at times in our lives when all seems chaotic before we find our direction :)

Faerie Blessings!

About
I don't know how to be anything else but what I am and though I know on an abstract level exactly who I am, I will always be unable to describe myself satisfactorily. But I can try to sum up: -I .. more..
