Captive

Captive

A Poem by Tannit

I can't forget your face
and the way it wrenched my heart
pulled and stretched
until it shredded in your hands
I can't forget the feeling
of choking in your perfume
I was rotting from the inside
but addicted to your smoke
The words you spoke to me
wrapped around my spine
oh, you were so gentle
in the way you held me down
I can't forget the freedom
of my torturous liberty
running from the cage I knew
I was torn in two
looking for a future and
reaching back for you
oh, you were so gentle
in the way you held me down

Wow, you write amazing poetry and your a good artist? So creative! Haha. I liked this poem a lot. It seemed like there was a whole other story behind it, like someone else said it's very unique!

Wow...this is very sensual and it has a unique way about it. I love the fact that you knew this situation was horrid for you but you wanted the relationship to end and you knew you had to end it but you will never let the memory of that person go! Torture it is! Fantastic job!

About
I don't know how to be anything else but what I am and though I know on an abstract level exactly who I am, I will always be unable to describe myself satisfactorily. But I can try to sum up: -I .. more..
