i am the destroyed

i am the destroyed

A Poem by Tanner Brockwell

i am the destroyed
particles of cold dust
footprints in the too late frost
upon the crocuses eager then
that week they pulled back the dirt
seeking warm sunlight
and caught unguarded
by capricious weather
they froze in the night
cold in cold interminable
that soaked the core
and fragile life of dainty petals
gone oh for that destruction

Hey stop stealing my poems...lol... kidding.

This is a beautiful piece that paints the mind with frozen dreams of children in skull t-shirts trampling and ravishing the earth...lol... ok sorry seriously now.

What a gorgeous portal into winter's eye of icy destruction. I loved every well placed word. Can not wait to see your other poems spring up.

much luv,
Kalypso
