Time is the only enemy

We fight, argue and have a bad time with some people only to understand sometimes that it was the time that did the trick...!

Fallen from my grace

Not worthy to embrace

For all the mistakes committed,

Cynical people never submitted.

 

Neighbours shout, friends cries,

Few deceives, few betrays,

Back-stabbed, false pride,

Politics hurts at work

Policies of leaders - I am depressed!

I can’t bare them all.

Life at pace, tired and done,

 

All enemies? I know naught.

Gazing at the stars, vertigo attacks

Blackout in my mind, unconscious awake.

His words reminded, penetrated my soul -

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

 

Tempted to obedience, glory for the soul,

Forgiveness on the cards,

Job description �" “Requirement to fill the void”

Soul knew, heart refused, mind authorized �"

Time is the only enemy!

Author's Note

Christmas is coming! Reminded me of Jesus's words about forgiveness. Sometimes, it is not the people but Time is the only enemy!
