Body awaiting its soul

We all are bound together and share common interests.

Life may act like a roller-coaster ahead,

One day will be down and one day up.

Live in present and hope for bright future,

Past is but past and long gone

No control or command to alter those changes.

Good days come and good days pass,

Bad is frightening but shall also pass.

All tragedies and grief overcome with time,

Time is the best healer -my friend.

Aim for big and shoot for stars

Leave all the rest and do not complain.

Human beings are various but connected like a net

Each point and line has equal importance.

Your worth may not be calculated accurate

But your life may affect some million lives.

You may think yourself as an expendable gift

But who knows if you are but the last nail in the fence?

Humanity has no borders or religion,

All have right to love and be loved.

While you read my tiny words

We touch each other with a common cause.

My poetry is like a lifeless body without soul,

You as an Angel will bring it to life.

All diseases of this body (poetry) will be cured

Once your reviews work like a magic wand.

There are many different types of poetry. I never studied writing, I just put down on paper feelings and words. For me free verse is just as interesting as any other kind. Valentine

Good to know that Valentine! However, I really like the way you use rhymes in your work. They are so effortless and never for a moment I have felt that there were any forced words.

I think it depends on individual or environment. At times when we get bad news we are shocked and then gradually with time we get to live with it and get used to it such that it may not bother that much. Thanks for reading!

Haaha...that is a nice one too...but I wanna say something time is not the best healer it only makes your wounds more deeper into your soul and as the time passes it hurts more...and I loved the line which said life is like a roller coaster

Oh yes, again. You and I are standing on two different sides of the TIME. For me it is a healer and for you its not. I think we both had different outcomes or experiences in doing so. For me, I had worst days of my life but persistence and survival instinct combined with patience to give some time helped me.... Yours I think I different.
