Describing love

They say the world revolves around love
And every moment strikes me ,is that enough?
We are taught to like qualities of a personality
And to despise the whimsicality

Then who are they to define love
For no one can see beneath what lies above
Like an old book with torn pages and worn leather seems despicable first
But its the matter its lived through that quenches the readers thirst

A notion of coerce then arrives within
That love has to be whole not just with skin
So love the defects of what loves you back
And you will see that makes you complete
There will be nothing then that you will lack
