Your Sylvette

Your Sylvette

A Poem by Mazerunner

You opened the chains and locks to my heart
So effortlessly your words seem like art
I'd painted my scars gold and blue
Your shadows faded them so soon, I never knew

And as I wait for your colours to imprint on my life
I'm killing it to make this very dive worth it
Where you'll be my king
And I'll be a mermaid queen across the coral sea
You've become my Picasso , painting a new me everyday
I'm unchained now but I'm addicted to being your Sylvette in every way
