Red and yellow

Red and yellow

A Poem by Mazerunner

Marigold petals flew in the air
A sight to see around like a rose fair
The winds came to a still
The thunder in me,I swallowed like a pill

Should i have known i was different right from the start
And nothing seems as deceivingly pretty as matters of the heart
Not every colour i knew stayed the same
And every fall gave rise to a flame

These colours make darkness fade around
But the light never lasts long and the colours make it drown
A binary life i see ahead
Cuz these shades of yellow and red leave a lot unsaid
