Shades of the day

Shades of the day

A Poem by Mazerunner

Rising as cold as i could be
The sun rays strike my face sharply
Colloidal dust travels through my thoughts
In a spectrum of reddish orange knots

Time flies parallel to my fantasies
Red whims degenerate to pale yellow realities
I drift and sway, tumble and fall
In a forest green all alone,to the blue hills im drawn

Keep travelling frantically to attain a closer sight
Enough i decreed was my wit and might
Weak and torn apart at every edge as i advance
The night arrives and again at twilight strength has a chance
