Battle within

Inside me the damn fire grew
Never realised it was for a king in queue
The rain 's pouring harder now
Like a sign telling me I'm high up not low

The skies fill up magnificently
But now my doubts are clear
I know now nothing and nobody I fear of is where I'm near
And at twilight I see myself in fly valor
Shining against that first ray in defiant armour

Battled a far empire to be king
A song that I sanguinely sing
Because I'm not an unsung hero
A life everyday I fight for with one arrow

And I will endure standing on the cliff
Painting my scars gold with brute
That sword of life with strength I'll hold
Today I carry the crown
Because all that in life is not what you see around
