A Radiant Sun

A Radiant Sun

A Poem by Ocean Orchid
"

work in progress ...just an idea..

"

Have you seen

     A time of  immense dearth?

Have you heard ?

The silent scream & aggravation woven

             In the million voices of

                           A vibrant decaying generation?

Have you widen your hands ?

To the dark night’s  blissy shining stars ….?

Don’t u know ?

        If the stars disappear

                One by one ……..

             Then there will be nothing

                            But rambling darkness …. ?

Let there be enigmatic radiance …

Let there be serene rain ….

                        Breaking the vicious

                                    circle of pain ....

Let the new dawn commence ....

                           Where a radiant Sun

                                    Will spread the light of

                                                           Hope, love

                                                                  And justice !

I think what I like most about your works is after I have read them there is so much to think about. You have an idea in mind that you portray so cleverly in your piece, and it makes one take pause and stop and ponder the meaning and the idea. The fact that you use questions to open this piece immediately provokes the mind to thought, and the descriptions you use ('The silent scream & aggravation', 'A vibrant decaying generation', 'rambling darkness') expresses so much. The ending is truly positive, and a wonderful message to those who read this, and again you deliver such grand description as to make this piece not only entertaining, but to paint a scene that we as people need to see to fully understand just what this piece is about. 'Let there be enigmatic radiance', 'Let the new dawn commence', now that's a message for this generation and the generations to come. Perfectly written, and thought provoking as always. Bravissimi.

Very beautiful imagery you have there. I love the line about if the stars were all gone. I've never thought about what the sky would look like if that were to happen.

That is the dream of everyone isn't it? I know I do, all the time. Whenever I hear about something unjust I hope and pray that something will happen to them that justice is served. Very well done. Nice message here. I liked it. Happy writing!!

Let there be enigmatic radiance
Let there be serene rain.
Breaking the vicious
circle of pain .. Let the new dawn commence
Where a radiant Sun
Will spread the light of
Hope, love
And justice
So, so powerful in a such an unjust world, the new dawn is always a new begining, so does the coming of the moon spark a new begining for others.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Stunning.

You are a master of beautiful imagery my friend.
This was simply superb.

" If the stars disappear

One by one ..

Then there will be nothing

But rambling darkness . ?"

Perish the thought, just too awful to contemplate. I like where your muse
took you on this.

I really like these lines. There is something very cleansing about rain -- and the notion of it breaking the vicious circle of pain brought forth a feeling of release -- and relief. I like where it is now, so I'm really looking forward to reading where you take it.

Lovely!
