Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis

A Poem by Ocean Orchid

Standing on this edge of horizon...

I stare with silence..

Taking a fleeting drift

From dreary present, evocative past

& the cryptic future!

I hear the untamed aggravation

Of Ocean…

With her infuriated, seductive roars

Pouring century’s rage of denial

On beloved mountain Rocks... !

I felt compassionate

for Ocean ..

Me and mountain Rocks stand still …

Perplexed by Ocean’s

Unearthly colossal - maiden splendor

Whilst the spotted dolphins cruise by ..

The hungry tides,

Like sea Bedouins

Across the blue turbulent waves

Like a compassionate mother,

Ocean raises Dolphins in adolescence

And after demise, they

Go through the metamorphosis

Transforming into fossils

To become fraction of the mountain rocks !

I am a person who finds water to be very fascinating, and the ocean is one of the most enchanting sights I have ever seen. It seems endless and infinite in sight, as if it stretches out to the ends of forever, but this piece of yours implies more than that; the ocean is infinite for other reasons. It's a compassionate mother to life, and also a final resting place. A circle of life exists there, and in the end the creatures that inhabit the ocean become one with the rock. Very well written.

transpiring as it was envisioned with colorful design, as well as meditative insight,
beautiful imagery throughout and the meaning leaves the reader with
a sense of added knowledge, there is much to consider reading this excellent poem.

Such beauty penned here. I loved this descriptive nature poem from the first stanza, brimming

Such a fascinating piece of reading, the end shows how nature works, the beauty that we are
never completely gone, and I love your description of the ocean in all its glory,

I hear the untamed aggravation

Of Ocean

With her infuriated, seductive roars

Pouring century's rage of denial

On beloved mountain Rocks

I could clearly see you standing and watching as the words formed, stunning.
