In the Grass

In the Grass

A Poem by Tamme
"

Form free.

"

Through this silence,

Between you and me,

Slithers in passion

Disguised as a friend

A sweet whisper

In my ear

A hand on my cheek

Your arm,

Coiled around my waist

I think...

I found forever,

Right here,

In your embrace.

My body,

Falls in love with the security

Ever so sinuously

Lust begins to swell.

The constricting,

Undulating sensations

Take their hold

I am rendered helpless.

In my chest

Growls a pounding ache

My lips

Have this peculiar tingle.

 And I can't tell

In my final waking thought

Is this infatuation

     ...or suffocation?

Oooo! I like this! I've definitely felt this way in my life and I'm sure many others can relate. I love reading work that I can relate to.

I like the way the shortness of the lines really hit you harder than something that might go into a ton of detail! That's a great accomplishment for a writer. Great job! :)

This an example of perfectly described sensations. I have to say that this is the first poem of this type (seduction, love, etc...) that I have enjoyed in many months.

I like the style - the less you write, the more you say.

Is it Salvation Or Damnation, is a thought on the Title. This is such a truthful way in which our defenses are penatrated by some. The truth is sometimes they are both. Sadly we usually don't figure it out until it is to late. This was an eye opening and thought provoking write.
