Fears I SeeA Poem by TammeFor the phobia contest nothing like last minute
…And the teeth …They hide behind that pout
I am scared I might fall …Down the stairs …High heels, pride and all I worry the end is near …The world’s end …Might come about this year Then it's car wrecks I dread …The carnage …Death and loss plague my head
Cancer's threat gnaws my nerves …Will it strike? …This disease no one deserves Fear of pedophiles …Blending in …With candy and smiles I might be rejected …With my love …Maybe going unreflected And am I a good mom …Raising kids …Into adults safe from harm It’s nothing more than me …And my mind …That creates these fears I see © 2008 TammeAuthor's Note
