Last Chance

Last Chance

A Poem by Tamme

Led on...

...Let down

Left to cry

On the last little star.

Lost as she,

In the mourning light.

Losing my face...

...Lit by shame

Forced to live my lies.

Lacking strength,

Or lapse in judgment,

Looking for some leeway.

I plead for leniency!

Allow me a love

Worth living for.

Leave theses tears

And unlock my heart

One last time...

Today's poem was brought to you by the letter L. I now I used the sad mourning in place of dawn morning I kinda think I like the little effect it has.

tamme, your opening imagery cuts straight to the heart, led on, let down, left to cry, that is sad,
and poetically enhanced to encapsulate certain essence and that being the way your poem defines
a sense of loss and pain, tears, your writing is depthfully charged, using gentle imagery is very
subtly effective, your vision reflects a love hanging on to the very last thread, showing how it
is when the heart succeeds judgement, and overcomes emotions, resulting in a slow affectionate
heartbreak, the form itself is beautifully done, and reminds me of a classic style, loved it, nice job.

I love the feeling that this cast upon my thoughts. I liked the flowing bounce that this had the way the words traveled seamlessly together with a wonderful effect. The setting fit so perfectly as they unfolded a scene of something interesting and some how peaceful to me.

Great Job!!!!!!!

This is so sad - it brings a tear to the eye - the longing expressed is superb. Nicely done. Thank you.
