Distant Heart

A Poem by T.L.Weber

In my mind, here I see,

It's just you and me

Engulfed in ecstacy.

In the night, dream of mine,

The setting so plainly fine,

Our love is left to shine.

But, the barrier stands tall,

On my knees I'm forced to crawl,

Praying that maybe it will fall.

Daylight brings me to this place

Void of my hero's loving face

My heart lost  without a trace

Oh, the pain!
Of which my does rain...
The transitions were great,
But here's an eighty-eight.
