For a moment...

    Fear pushed you back.

For just a bit...
    I lost my head.
       Your patience found it.

For a instant...
    I was my tenacious self.
       Maybe a bit childish, too.

             It feels odd to utter those words.

I like this poem because I think you wrote it for me, right? Kidding. It kind of reminds us that it's okay to be happy. Not Tom Cruise jumping on a couch happy, but you know.
