Stupidity

Stupidity

A Poem by Tamme

Loose lips
Babbling about things.
Mostly, what they can't comprehend
Complaining...
About the government,
The price of gas,
The weather
And whatever.
Talking, like it's their life
That's worse then any other.

You see,
They're pissed off,
Because life's not fair.
It came upon them
As a big surprise.
Wishing on stars,
Crossing their fingers,
Trying to hope...
That's the bullshit
They serve themselves.
And it's all it will ever be.

Dreams do not come true,
No one gets what they deserve,
And never...
Ever...
Was there such a thing
As contentment.

Is the population stupid
Or
Just afraid to accept
The reality they ignore.
Traversing through the world
Obliviously.
Acting as if
Nothing is ever their fault
And
What goes around
Never comes back

Deffinatly a wonderful rant... we live in a world today where people complain but don't want to do sqaut about what they complain about.... they can complain about it but its someone elses job to fix it... This was a great write that brings out emotion in the reader and makes them think about the situation... very well done!

It seems so sad that so many will not accept responsibility and whats worse yet is they blame ids who then think every thing is their fault. This is a good expression of this side of life. Great Job.

Very nice write. Life is frustrating sometimes! Nice way to get that frustration out and to express the absurdity of all of our complaining.

wow- I agree with you. Everyone seems to find something to complain about and people don't seem to realize that life isn't fair. You think after so long of being here people would realize that life will never be fair. Oh well, they will realize it sometime or another- well hopefully they do. Great job- I really connect to it and I really like it.

We live in a world of people that like to complain but don't want to do a damn thing about the things they see wrong. The would lose the things that they have to complain about and would not have any reason to exist any more I guess. I say if you not going to do anything about anything than shut the hell up. You don't have a right to complain any more.

Didactic in nature untruthful in life. I respectilifully disagree with the pome. Reality is not a gut check of time rather it is a visualation of the things to come. How often have you made an appointment for next week or month. Knowing that the appointment has put pressur on you to be there. That's reality. Have you ever heard that time repeats itself or better history repeats itself in time. The trueth is we make our own reality like making that appointment. The pressure is there because we put it there. Dreams do come true but maybe not the way you want them to come true. And as for getting what we deserve it is true that we do not get what we want but as for what we deserve. I believe it is a little different in that we deserve what we get. Life is fair if you plan it out and follow the plan. Lossen up a little and smell the roses. Life is as fair as you let it be. Can you get hurt yes but without failure we cannot grow. Good read

So true, but SO depressing. What's wrong? :)

I must say, I think I'm one of these whiners....I'm always surprised when something else s****y happens to me, and then I b***h and moan about it for days. No one wants to hear it, and I understand that, but I still continue to rant and rave. Must learn to take the s**t and just deal with it, right? It's a lesson that I think most people don't ever quite learn, or at least until we're older. I just try and remember, "What makes you think you've got it so bad? You've got a house, animals you love, a car, food on the table at night, and a wonderful husband who actually loves you back. Your parents are both still alive and at least one of them is well, you've got an actual career...what are you bitching about? Many people don't have any of those things!" I think many of us have forgotten the lovely simplicity in our lives and become obsessed with things that we don't need and will never have.

I'm going to stop going on here, but obviously you have provoked the thought processes again. Thank you for that, you big grump. Hehehehe...I'm just teasing.
