Memories

My mind is closed today
Envisioning a place I wish to stay
Most of the time when the sky is gray
Only then is my heart set free to play
Reality is likely to unravel and fray
I know over time the glow will decay
Elsewhere the emotions fade away
Sending me home 'til my next stray.
