You Better Be Dead.

You Better Be Dead.

A Poem by tamilynnyea;.

Love, will you join me on the stage,

Bring all your hatred and the rage.

I never swore, I never said,

I'm still alive, I wasn't dead.

You caught me here, on the wrong page.

In the middle of the act,

You came to me, as a matter of fact,

IT hurt like hell,

But I won't tell.

I'm gonna give it back.

Doing what is right for me,

And doing what is fun to me:

What to do,

What to do.

Oh, this will never do.

Stealing's wrong and shows bad character, but

Listen, don't patronize me, the right's not yours, ever.

Just jump.

I trust you'll make it.

You failed before,

But trust me, you'll live.

Just jump,

And keep your eyes wide open,

Or the glass will have nowhere to go.

You're like a needle with no thread,

Walking around like an injured puppy.

Stop moping.

I've beat you down,

but there's more to come.

You'd better get up,

Or you better be dead.
