Talk About It

I don't know.=/ I was watching Degrassi and decided to write a poem. <b>5/30</b>

She had a dream about him.

He had a dream about her.

She tried to talked to him, but

He didn't wanna talk about it.

 

He told her to get lost and

She told she felt nothing

When his friends ask him about it

He didn't wanna talk about it.

 

2 years later, she's living life

Great friends, goes out every Friday night.

When they ask her why

She stays single,

She doesn't wanna talk about it.

 

In the years to come

They think of each other,

Wonder about one another.

And wonder why

There was no life between them and

They listen to slow songs,

Wonder why they were so wrong,

How they left behind something,

When they could've talked about it.

 

She had a dream last night where

They met up, and got together.

He had the very same dream,

But it didn't become reality.

 

He told her to get lost but

She never lost sight of him.

She told him she felt nothing--

Nothing but what she was feeling.

 

She is so confused,

He is so amazed.

Why couldn't they,

Why couldn't they talk about it?

He's so hurt deep down

She wants to feel again.

Oh why, oh why

Couldn't they just talk about it?

Very powerful that they both had the same dream at the same time, but it didn't happen. This is opposite to what we would expect in a poem. Well done!

Their fighting could be a lover's quarrel, since they're still connected on a spiritual level.

Such a typical problem in relationships -- one wants to talk about it while the other one runs.
