Terminal 96

You lay down.

A plaster silence following the fight.

We won, stand up!

You shuffle strangely and then talk to yourself, while hobbling through the ruins.

We won, cried the voice again, this time louder.

But you refuse to listen.

You sway through the thin air,

You stir yourself up in the emptiness of a place that might have once existed...

In a long forgotten dream.

Terminal 96,

A murmur,

Your name.

Night falls.

Tomorrow again.

kind of reminds me of my cousin (in the marines)...he never takes pride in the winnings just looks back and sees he won nothing but shattered the many dreams of innocents : beautiful poem though :D

haunting and enigmatic~ the shamble of ghosts whisper through the shuttered frames of the poetic lens~
