Mother, Dearest

Mother, Dearest

A Poem by Talia M.
"

The lamentations of a bereaved daughter

"
Mother, dearest, I miss your smile
As warm as a day in the beauty of spring
And as bright as sunbeams that glitter on the sea.

Mother, dearest, I miss your voice
As sweet as the sound of a nightingale's song
And as gentle as snowfall on cold mountain peaks.

Mother, dearest, I miss your touch
As soft as a rose petal sitting on my palm
And as soothing as the breeze that caresses the trees.

Mother, dearest, I miss you so
As much as my heart can bear and more
And sadly, mother, dearest, I'll see you no more.

Author's Note

Talia M.
I'm not usually very good at poetry, so I hope this is alright.
I wanted to write something to remember her. I may add more verses later.

It's lovely, my dear. I don't see any way it can be better, as a tribute to your mother.
