The hive is alive and well, thank you.A Story by Sun FoxJust my view on the collective consciousness; what it means to me. Originally posted on another site in April 2014.Once in awhile everyone needs a mirror. A reflection of themselves seen in others because we are all part of this world, all connected in a very profound way. But somehow, we get distracted by menial tasks and forget this. How? It's everywhere. Every second of our existence. It is happening right now as this cold wind rushes through this city and people talk to each other about the weather. Stop for a second and think about that. Think about the next encounter you have with someone and how it could affect their life. Whether that be a friend that asks for advice or a random stranger that asks you to listen to their story when it seems like no one else will. Or a stray cat that you offer a pet and some food. Or a homeless man asking for a cigarette. Or the moon asking us to pay attention to it, as everyone finally did last month because it was "pretty". Or a falling leaf from a tree that seems to take to the wind and float, but slower the more you stare at it. Once you start to actually pay attention, it slows time down and diverts the loud, fast distractions from the outer world, the matrix realm, the one we all really don't like to be in, just have to, in order to "survive" and "get by" in this society. Do you ever feel like you are a ripple in a still pool of water? If you splash it will repel other water droplets outward, into the great unknown. And continue on into infinity. It may seem like this is a small ordeal compared to all the vast things taking place in today's world. But those small splashes eventually lead into large waves and will move sands and rocks and mountains eventually. And it all comes down to your intention with the splash. If you're moving with intention to move, it won't look like much. But if you're moving with intention on living and loving what you're creating in the process then it will be so. You only get out of it what you put into it. I'm just trying to say that if you can control your own thoughts to only look at your life with love and appreciation for what you are here, on this planet, as a human being, with the ability to LOVE you will eventually look outwardly only with love. A smile to a stranger can change the entire course of their lives. You never know if they ever had someone look at them, smile and sincerely ask how they were doing and truly mean what you say when you leave them and say "I hope you have an awesome day." I can no longer wonder, now I just know that every thought, word and action I take control of and usher out into this world is effecting countless others. And that is a huge responsibility. I can no longer revert back to not caring. I can no longer judge or look at this huge consciousness we are all a part of with anything other than an immense love and appreciation. We are all here together. Now. In this moment and those to come. So let's make the best of it and never forget that this is what's truly important. The eternal moment of knowing what we know about how powerful our thoughts and actions have become, and using it to better the world, for all of us. May your next encounter be full of these words. I'll see you there. <3 © 2014 Sun FoxAuthor's Note
