LoveA Poem by Takoda Sorvillo
Love
Love is something you cannot see or touch but you know its there It hides in the corners of your mind and in the pupils of your eyes Kills the soul with the softest blow And still everyone wants to know Love can be squandered and treated like a toy People disguise it as a ruse for passers by Children think it of their mothers and fathers Men think it as an excuse to pass on their legacy Women think it as a scared treasure The killing of love in an individual is not so easily done It takes strength, Courage, and a good bit of evil To break one's heart is a sin unforgivable Love is confusing Humans invented it and took it for granted Thinking it of the beautiful, the shamed, and the broken Excuses excuses, to hold things dear Love is a sham.
