Aurora

I couldn't help but smile. I would laugh too, but I kinda couldn't breathe, so I decided to stick with the smile. This guy honestly believes he is winning this fight! Oh my gosh, rhinos are stupid. Sure, rhino’s are fat unicorns, and we should respect their majesty, but this one is a pretty retarded fat unicorn. Not gonna lie.

Ok, back on topic. He thinks he’s winning. What he doesn’t know, is that all that noise I was creating was to lure something much bigger, much meaner, and much more dangerous than him. I let him beat me around a little to get his ego pumping, and then he becomes my bait. Sucks for you pal.

I could hear my real prize coming. He was about a block away and closing in. I needed to make more noise…. But how? It’s hard to yell and scream if you can’t breathe…

That was when I got my brilliant idea.

Alphonse

Before I could do anything rash, Brother started dragging both Marshall and I in the opposite direction. I walked, but I didn’t take my eyes away from the scene. Even from the distance we were at, I could still see that smile on her face. The smile that challenged the rhino-beast, “is that really the best you can do?”

As I watched, she slowly reached up and gently placed her hand on the wrist of the rhino that was smashing her into the wall and suffocating her. Without warning, the rhino’s hand burst into flames. Marshall dropped to the ground with a grunt, but it wasn’t me who dropped him this time. Before I knew what was happening, the rhino flung Auri in our direction, crying out in pain, and Brother had run past me towards her.

Aurora

Ouch….. That was just a tad painful… But look at it this way, I can officially breathe. I’m still trying to figure out in my mind if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

I looked up to see the rhino-beasty-bob-jig flailing his arms around, trying to put out the fire and I couldn’t help but laugh at how funny the whole display was.

All the while, I could hear something big headed this way, drawn by the racket the rhino was making. Poor b*****d had no idea he had become my bait. I was lost in these thoughts when I heard someone call my name. I turned to see the short guy running towards me. What the hell is with these two!?!

“Do you have a death wish or something?” I called out to him.

“Not really, but it seems you do.” He said as he drew near and draped one of my arms over his shoulder so he could carry me. I yanked myself away.

“I am perfectly capable of walking, thank you very much. I may be a girl but I can handle a little pain. I’m not made of glass.”

He blushed, “S-Sorry! You look pretty beat up so I thought I’d lend a hand.” You have to admit, this guy is kinda cute.

“By the way, I never caught your name.” I said casually, as if we had just met in a coffee shop and was having a lovely conversation.

He looked at me confused, “Is that really something you want to talk about right now?” There was a little bit of nervousness in his voice as the rhino gained its composure and turned towards us.

“Pssshhh. It’s never the wrong time to make new friends!” I smiled. It’s true, you can make friends in the most unlikely of places these days. I kept an eye on the rhino and my ears up. He was almost here.

“Well, my name is Edward. Edward Elric.” Oh. Ok. They have the same last name. I assume they’re brothers. Either that or a gay couple, but let’s assume brothers. This must be the younger one, since he is smaller.

Edward

We are all about to die, and she is interrogating me for my name. Really? I think that’s pretty low on our priority list at the moment.

She was about to say something when her ears flicked, and she pushed me to the ground. At that moment, the building closest to the rhino-beast collapsed, and a giant monster step through it. In less than a second, and before the rhino could do anything, the monster’s jaws had closed down around it, and blood spurted everywhere.

I watched in horror. It was some sort of… I don’t know, dinosaur thing! It was as big as a building but it looked human, with giant jaws that had razor sharp teeth jutting out of them.

“Finally!” Auri said. I looked over at her and she was smiling. “Took you long damn enough Landon!” …. Who the hell is Landon?!?! The dinosaur?!?

“What is going on here?!?” Alphonse yelled running up to us, staring at the dinosaur with a mixed expression of shock, terror, and confusion.

Auri stood up and clamped a hand over Al’s mouth. “Shhhh!! The old man’s eye sight is horrid, but his hearing is something totally different. Be quiet, and you’ll live.”
