Superhero

I wrote this when I was like, 13. I originally intended for it to be a song in fact whenever i read it i sing it in my head to the tune i came up with to go with it.

I may not be invinceable,
But I am stronger than you know,
I'm a superhero.
Take my hand I'll show you how,
You might not understand right now,
I'm a superhero.
I can't hide it anymore.
This is something I can't ignore,
I'm a superhero.
It might be hard to understand,
But this is who I really am,
I'm a superhero.
It might be hard to believe,
Maybe one day you will see,
I'm a superhero.
Even the ordinary can be extrodinary,
You can be a superhero like me!

Lol! XD I agree with Been, I thought of Skillet's "Hero" when you said it was put to music. But hey, this is a cute write. When I was 13 (look at me making it sound like that was a long time ago XD) I wrote about stuff like this too. So no worries, you aren't alone.

When I attempted to imagine it to music, the only thing that popped into my head was Skillet. Lol.
All the poems I wrote a few years ago I had a vague intention of putting to music, but, as I only have a percussive knowledge of instrumentation, that idea never became reality.
And nobody seems eager to use the drummer's lyrics lol.

But yeah, like the review above me stated, if it was a bit more in depth it would improve the poem dramatically.

i like it. you should try doing a revised version of it so that you can make it have more depth. but its a god write
