Painting Walls

Painting Walls

A Poem by Tai
"

If only it was easy but its not

"
Painting the walls
With the art of this brain of mines
Feeling like expressions of these walls will help me
Giving me the desire to have any purpose
Seeing my hands full of colors is excitingly satisfying
Versatile colors mixing like a crowd at a fair
Thinking if we could be like colors
Separate but together but
For the moment, the wall looks like a rainbow on a rainy, misty day
Beautiful, yet so dark
So I wash my hands to express my sight on the walls of art
And realize that she was the walls
For my lonely paintbrush of imagery

This one has the sound of loss and regret. The speaker is apparently an artist who is dealing with pain through his art. There is an indication it is helping, but also calls to mind his loss. The colors he is using appear dark to him, "like a rainbow on a rainy, misty day". We can only encourage his efforts; hopefully the colors will brighten in time.
PS: Do a spell check on the last word of line 2.
