The Last RoundA Poem by TaiNo matter what happens, continue to fight
As the pain moans upon the family
The father of positivity has receive a angel Not any angel valued by wings But by heart The fighter inside of her was like fire to a oven Instead it never turned off Blinded by no obstacles nor evil Climbed her last step to the best of her ability Sickness isn't no more worries to her But a worry to others surrounded by cold hospitals and machines The daylight shines to a family hung over by evil In hopes to change ways before death is looking around once more She will be remembered in our hearts and memories As each year pasts From Night to Day We as a people, we should look into the future as if she was still our fighter Not the past or present Because we can't ask tomorrow what isn't promised So to the fighter who beat all odds Your message is received in actions Not words - R.I.P Ellen Deshell Long (1985-2018) © 2018 Tai |
