Someday (Song)

I wrote another song. I hope everyone enjoys...

Sometimes I find myself

Sitting here.

Out here in the open,

My thoughts become more clear,

Though sometimes to me,

My curiosity

Seems so queer.

 

Here with you

I don’t know what to do,

As we lie here

Dreamin’ of the sky

And we ponder what it means

To be alive

 

I don't need to know the truth,

Just wanna be here with you,

Before we fade away someday,

Before we fall away someday

 

I don’t need a real answer,

I think it’d make me sad,

When we finally fade away someday,

Because we all fall away, someday

 

And as I walk with you,

Towards the blue

Sky that surrounds us

All I can think of

Is you.

 

As we watch the morning

Draw well into the afternoon,

Then smile at the amber hue

As evening turns to night,

We’ll be alright

 

It’s hard to think

That this could be a lie

 

 

But I don't need to know the truth,

Just wanna be here with you,

Before we fade away someday,

Before we fall away someday

 

I don’t need a real answer,

I think it’d make me sad,

When we finally fade away someday,

Because we all fall away, someday

 

And I hope that we will finally find a way,

And finally understand life someday,

Though that day seems so far away,

There’s nothin’ I can do

But lie here in the dirt with you,

 

After everything that we’ve gone through

 

And even if this life really is  a lie.

And the only reason we live is to die,

That’s something I’d accept,

And bow in deep respect,

Because that’s all there really is to do

 

I don’t care as long I’m still you.

Maybe all this pain will fade away,

I hope to spend every day right here eventually…

And though your body’s gone away,

I will not show dismay,

Because your soul’s forever with me…

That’s how it’ll be…
