Peaceful White lies.

Something I wrote long ago. Considering whats going on in my life right now I"m surprised that I didnt right this now....

You know whats really hard?

Being there for people.

When there sad, crying and alone.

When they keep repaeating their problems over and over again?

 

All you can do is sit there and awkwardly pat their shoulder telling them nice, caring, things like:

 

"Everythings' okay"

"He's an a*****e  totally not worth it"

"He's not cheating on you I promise"

"You'll forget her, no worries"

 

But you know as these words escape your mouth that these are soothing  lies.

 

Peaceful white lies...

 

To comfort them for awhile. To ease their pain for a second, before they start sobbbing all over again.

it's true! we have to lie some times just to comfort our loved one's! to make them feel good! to stop there tears! i dont call it a lie! something more than truth !!
