You live in me

You live in me

A Poem by thoughtfuldreamer

How I wish...
I could share
this with you.
How far
I've come.
Every day,
still fighting
for my dreams,
And radiating
love.

How I miss...
Your heartfelt
embrace.
Always warm,
Always safe.
So caring,
No matter
the place.

You taught me
Patience
and strength,
Softness
and honesty.
You showed me,
the immensity
of the sea.

You lead
by example,
With staunch
kindness.
Unveiling living
was meaningless,
If not for
sharing,
laughing
and loving.

In your eyes
There was hope,
happiness
and joy.
They live
in me,
Forever
in my heart.
I miss you,
But we're never
really apart.
