Silence.

Silence.

A Poem by thoughtfuldreamer

Silence meet silence.
You may be peaceful,
You may be enraged.
You may be honest,
You may be doubtful.
You may be expressive,
You may be shy.
You may be helpful,
You may be uncomfortable.
You may be close,
You may be distant.
You may be brief,
You may be never ending.
However you appear, there you are.

i like it a lot though just stylistically i'm not too crazy with the "you may.." repetition.
It slows things down a bit for me. otherwise it's great!

Thanks for your insight, and yeah.. I see what you mean. Will put some thought into that!
I like this, especially since there are different types of silences. Some may leave you feeling awkward, or angry, or sad, or even happy. And it's true, silence seems to have many 'faces' and it is everywhere.

Yes, that's what I was trying to portray. Thanks for your comment, much appreciated!
