Forget and Hide.

Forget and Hide.

A Story by Hanakuso
"

I'm counting to a hundred - run.

"
You are the iceberg
fragile and tiny, on the verge of sinking
only to find out beneath the waters of ice
you are my ledge on hope.

You are the salt
precious and piquant, licked off
on my lips you swallow all
the solvent of my words

You are the nakedness
defenseless and peeled, no shame
left to shield you from
the filth between my eyes

You are the memory
there and beyond, endure me
until we remember that life
is full of ghosts who never existed.

I found this sweet as well as longingly sorrowful for some reason but I like it and the images drawn in my mind. Hope you have a good day and keep on writing. ♥
