Clocked SecondsA Poem by HanakusoYou are my time. I am the time-keeper.Exhausted to an altered state The reality seeps in Breathing heavily in and out A trickle of sweat Makes its way down Down Down… Deprived of everything Craving something Bequeathed nothing Too emotionally drained Can I fast forward? Again Again... To the part where Everything is all right again Before it may just Break me again. Suddenly so aware of the silence That muffles my thoughts on pain And suffering and despair It fills my ears with nothingness Like the sound of tears to the happy man This sense of purpose Lost, until the memory Of me and you Begins again. © 2012 HanakusoAuthor's Note
