Unrelenting

crushing

crashing

bashing

blasting

wave upon wave

Dragging pebbles

tumbled

jumbled

crumbled

Swallowed

Engulfed

Heart breaks

Soul aches

Child shakes

empty

alone

splintered

spent

crying

reaching

yearning

for

God
