This is a material age. We are ruled by Television Gods and Glamour Goddesses. Our self images are destroyed by "perfect"( FAKE), or should I say "fake" ( PERFECT), celebrity images.  Every single day we feed these Rulers LIFE. We give up our will to think, to imagine, to create, to remember, and to change. We have stopped our evolution and sacrificed this also. now with a way to grow these Gods and Goddesses have found a way to penetrate what we have always kept so sacred and close; we share our LOVE. Holidays are corporate money macking schemes. Our theories are old because we gave up the combination of imagination and thought; We recreate because we gave up creating; We forgot how to love because we gave up the memories of our definition of LOVE; We are controlled by materials because we gave up our will change. We expect information to be delivered on a sterling silver platter in digestible pill form. We are blind to whats truth and whats lies, but we need not care, just satisfy our addiction and close up our hole, whether it be trash or delicacie. We will all slowly die, our hearts black and cold.

you always cut to the chase and speak what you feel, my dear Siri...this is so true.

this season is about the love we share with friends and family, not the materialistic commercialism that it has become. being together, remembering what it's all about, sharing the life of those close to us is all that matters and what is important.

it is the celebration of life, love and peace...and it is something that most have gotten away from and have forgotten.

i, for one, will give you that HUG and the kiss on the cheek.

I love this, it's so true about modern day society. I love rants, they are unrestained and truthful. "love" of that season is that of materialism. This is one of my favorites.
